Is anyone here participating in FAWM? I am for the first time. I saw it last year but didn't sign up. It's really actually pretty cool https://fawm.org/

Clara HembreeFebruary Album Writing Month

Almark *oh, I remember that name well, someone we use to know did that. Never released myself

Jason NorwoodI would but I'm currently without the ability to record. I did take part in a February "track-a-day" thing that a friend was involved in, which was a lot of fun.

A bit of ska for you? Besides our Maheekats project, we're also driving down the two tone road with our Fox & Hopton project! If you would like a download code, please let me know! We have about 20 codes left for our new song "Don't Wanna Go Home." https://www.ladyaudio.co/fox-hopton-releases-new-song-dont-wanna-go-home/ #skamusic

Almark *you guys can do pretty much anything, this is well done.

Hi everyone! I've created a video series on how to tune a guitar to Solfeggio Frequencies! I hope you find it useful and helpful https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLdADc4ToDG4pmXyACaaS-raTLHeXRNeSD&si=0Ddhmn45Pcwcc_Ul

Clara HembreeMaybe! I'll see what I can do.

Almark *awesome :)

Clara HembreeWe were thinking of adding Songs from the Woods to Transmission Nova. You already have When Lightning Strikes which is off of this same album https://maheekats.bandcamp.com/album/songs-from-the-woods-remastered It was remastered by the great Paul du Gré.

Almark *I've always liked that album, send me what you like?

Almark *if you listen to both stations, you will hear your music there, in fact, this is going to blow your mind, but we have every thing from the last 11 years for the radio. I just need to upload it and all those old songs will be heard once more from 2015 onward, wild, just upgraded both radios so more artists could join.

Created a new video vlog 5

I mention the weatnu hub in my next vlog coming out tomorrow morning on youtube... but I'm posting it directly here as well.

Almark *Thank you for speaking about what we are doing, Clara. I have to approach it like a hobby WEATNU has always been a hobby, just I put so much passion into it, it became an obsession. I learned that lately, it helped me step way back. I realized what we do here is not for the many. We don't jive with a lot of people because they want what WEATNU cannot give them. Exposure. It's all about the free tools and expression they are allowed.
If you read this article you'll understand everything we are now https://magazine.weatnurecords.com/2023/06/07/beyond-the-algorithm/

Still new at this. This is the recording of the first guitar track for a new meditation. I explain a little bit at the end of the video. Thanks for watching!

Almark *hello Clara, it's not too hard to get, you can upload video direct as well in your next post.

Almark *this is nice stuff :)

What a great idea, Almark! I'll invite some friends, if that's okay?

Dan PruettInvite more of your friends! I already invited all mine, apparently they think the Hub is sketchy. You know that old addage, "you can lead a friend to a bar but you don't pay for their drinks or they will take advantage of you." Was that it? Or was it something to do with a horse and water? I appreciate the love I got on my post which led me here, where I noticed you play guitar. So do I. Any who. I'm going to check out your guitar meditation video now.

Almark *I am curious, why do they think that, what about this place is sketchy?

Dan PruettOh, I have not a clue. Probably to the regular Facebook crowd the immediate shock is the "dark" color palette. Probably makes folks think it's park of the "deep web" or "dark web" or something. Then our names are often monikers not real names. Also, we don't post/share that many pictures, or memes, which is basically all people share on Facebook, which I'm sure has FB folks wondering, "So what the f*** is it even for??" Haha oh well. They'll get it or they won't.

Almark *one does not know what goes into running #WEATNU in a whole year by year. But the machine has to be oiled, it is a free-working system, connected to other networks and communities, PR, radio, label, magazine, organized to benefit the artist. There is nothing else like it. I assure of that. It comes from my brain. The vast majority don't realize the value of what we do. It's why I must rest at times.

Almark *corp homogenization has ruined the flow of what the internet was suppose to be, we don't have that here, thankfully.
