A little advice, if anyone comes to you claiming to be something they aren't, and you can't find any creditable sources, you can't find any thing that proves who they are, not even references, they are most likely a scammer wanting your money. Probe them, question what they want and then close the deal. There are so many scammers now you can't imagine. We must protect ourselves as artists because they don't go after nobodies, they go after people who have resources, and clout. Since we are a 12 year running movement, we're a target.

I don't have faith in Subvert, in fact I don't have faith in anything online that says it will help artists succeed and find new audiences. What I do believe in is something that gives people the ability to move outside the box they were put in. Large efforts are fine but let downs are always around the corner. I want results, not hope in a box.

FB and Meta casts down everything #WEATNU has done since a few years ago.
1. We lost our weatnurecords IG page a few years ago - it's gone forever.
2. They deleted our Threads weatnu_ page latetly. I don't expect to get it back.
This company is a cancer, we'll be back to Substack and YouTube once more.

Just when I thought we were building up a head of steam, threads blocks us, meta is cancer.

We are taking back the DIY scene. This fire has never stopped burning within me. It matters not the age of me, it's my soul that refuses to be put out. These artists deserve to be heard based on their own merit. Not based on rules or judgement but by the music they produce alone. Our artist directory was created from intense frustration, and realization what was lacking all this time. Due to modern technology the need was filled. It's not going to create a following in the 100s or even the 1000s but real honest organic following, and slow growth as intended, before this we had neither, but we never stopped trying and social media cannot contain our fire.
