We are taking back the DIY scene. This fire has never stopped burning within me. It matters not the age of me, it's my soul that refuses to be put out. These artists deserve to be heard based on their own merit. Not based on rules or judgement but by the music they produce alone. Our artist directory was created from intense frustration, and realization what was lacking all this time. Due to modern technology the need was filled. It's not going to create a following in the 100s or even the 1000s but real honest organic following, and slow growth as intended, before this we had neither, but we never stopped trying and social media cannot contain our fire. Our movement promised our rise and here it is 12 years later - We are not back down, - We are the New Underground https://magazine.weatnurecords.com/2016/03/25/weatnu-the-next-punk-scene/
Burn your corp flags, you can't put out musicians.
I have hated the song Wrong way for over 30 years, I hate that song so much, it's the worst song on the radio in the 90's. Sublime shouldn't have ever released it and the radio shouldn't have ever played it. Kurt would have said few things about that band if he had lived on.
Jason NorwoodYou know what song I can't stand? "What's Going On" by 4 Non Blondes. It's Linda Perry's voice mostly.
Almark *that song makes me want to climb the walls, horrible, I can't stand No Doubt too.
Almark *hey hey heyyyyyyy hayyyy hayyyy hayy WHAT"S GOING ONNNNNNNNN shut up lady.
Linktree does not provide enough for the artist, a few links was not the answer, but we aren't competing with them, we are surviving without social media. Our artist directory was our last effort to get the artist archived and kept safe from deletion online.
shoring up all the bugs that are present with artist directory, once that is done we'll be 90% complete and the final touches of the living profile will be in place, then connecting those to the front end and properly for deployment to the public.
since around late Jan I have worked on Artist Directory, right after the drop off working to build this place, I jumped right in after the Christmas season. It was something that was terribly needed, and we're 82% done. I think it will be a life's work come to pass, and help artists for the next 12 years.
we need funds to pay Bandcamp so we can add more artists for Transmission Nova.
The donation is 20 dollars.
Thank you if you can.
